Katie Hinners-Mueller is the Deputy Executive Director for the ACLU of Missouri where she oversees the administration and finance functions of the office, including all human resources and financial matters such as accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly financial reports, grant management and reporting, payroll, contracts, benefits, and assisting with hiring and evaluation compliance.
She joined the staff in February, 2017, to pursue her passion and commitment to the protection of all individuals’ civil liberties and Constitutional rights. She has more than 15 years of administrative and management experience in the private and public sectors.
Prior to coming to the ACLU of Missouri, Katie was honored to serve in public education for 10 years.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in French studies from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University.
