The ACLU of Missouri is dedicated to reclaiming constitutional and civil rights for all Missourians, regardless of immigration status. 

More than 225,000 people across Missouri are foreign-born.

Our state has a rich history of immigration. The Kansas City area has long been home to a Latino community that started in the frontier days on the Santa Fe Trail. St. Louis is also home to a growing Hispanic population, as well as a community of 50,000 Bosnians. Towns such as New Melle and Westphalia were by founded German immigrants.
