Sage Coram joined the ACLU of Missouri in December 2023 as a Legislative Associate. As part of the Policy and Campaigns team, she works to defend and expand civil liberties through issue-based campaigns and legislative advocacy at the state and local level.
Prior to joining the ACLU, Sage worked to amplify opportunities for currently and formerly incarcerated people at a holistic reentry organization and as a practicum student with Washington University’s Prison Education Project. Sage is devoted to reproductive health care for all and worked to ensure accessibility of care at a practical support abortion fund in Texas. In addition, Sage has also worked aboard a commercial fish tender in Southeast Alaska and served as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm.
Sage earned her Master of Social Work from Washington University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Mills College. She believes in imaginative and collaborative problem-solving and is committed to advancing ACLU-MO’s priority issues to protect individual rights and amplify movements for equity.
